Bridge to Terabithia

I read this book on the plane a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoyed it.
It's an old, classic story that isn't hard to read like a lot are.
I'd seen the movie beforehand which I kind of wish I hadn't, as it took the shock out of the ending but that's alright.
I loved both =)

This is a post about my best friend KATE!

Kate is cooler then I am.

Kate is the person who saved me in computing because i would be loner with out her.

Kate is my only friend although she doesn't really like me.

Copyright Laws

For Task Twelve of this assignment, we have to write a post explaining the laws of copyright.

Copyright is a set of rules and rights that are given to the original author or creater of a piece of work. It gives them the right to copy, distribute and adapt the work. Copyright lasts for a set period of time after which the work is released into public domain. Copyright laws can be assigned, transferred or liscensed. I really need to finish another book.
I've started about three, am halfway through two and have another two on order.
Better get on to that...

" 'Why did you call him Tortoise, if he wasn't one? Alice asked.' "
" 'We called him Tortoise because he taught us,' said the Mock Turtle angrily: 'really you are very dull!' "

This part of the book made me laugh =) There are lots of odd things said in this book.
That's what Alice in Wonderland is. Odd.
But it was odd in the way that made me smile while I was reading it and that's something I find really important in books.

It was a lot shorter than I expected it to be and some parts did confuse me, but that just meant I had to think a little harder about what I was reading. There is a letter to the reader at the end written by Lewis Carroll (the author). This letter shows his creativity, but definitely doesn't make him seem any less strange!

I liked this book and I will read the sequel at some point.. "Through the Looking Glass".
